Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be of legal working age
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid state-mandated beverage service certificate if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or server role is advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and POS operations
  • Knowledge of safe food handling procedures and allergen awareness
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain state-mandated beverage service certification if required

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service by greeting customers warmly and taking orders accurately
  • Maintain safe food handling and allergen awareness practices
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and handle cash transactions in compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Promote menu items passionately and assist guests with food and beverage selections
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization of the dining area and server station
  • Obtain and maintain the state-mandated beverage service certificate where applicable
