Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of high school education
- Up to one year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to count back money accurately
- Ability to apply common sense in carrying out instructions
- Ability to handle repetitive problems
- Ability to exert fast-paced mobility
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Use hands to grasp objects and operate cash registers
- Ability to talk and hear
- Frequently reach, twist, stoop, bend
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must have clear near vision
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Effective communication skills with customers and staff
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to handle common problem-solving situations

- Comfortable working in close quarters with others
Job Duties
- Work with a sense of urgency
- Greet guests within one minute of seating
- Set up tables with silverware, water, and coffee
- Answer customers questions
- Take orders and suggest menu items
- Ring checks into computer
- Hang checks for kitchen
- Prepare and deliver drink orders
- Carry food orders promptly without a tray
- Drop bills after meal completion
- Check back with customers for satisfaction
- Refill water and coffee
- Observe guests for additional needs
- Remove plates and wrap leftovers
- Maximize trips to kitchen by checking tables
- Keep up with behind-the-scenes work
- Assist other servers and cooks
- Complete to-go orders
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow managers directions
- Perform cleaning and sidework
- Follow safety precautions
