Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service or hospitality
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must acquire and maintain required certifications such as Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred
- Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or related food service job experience
- Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
- Fine dining and/or banquet experience preferred
Job Duties
- Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items offered
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to banquet guests
- Ensures food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen
- Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items with no spill-over
- Pre-buses tables and full buses tables during peak periods
- Maintains availability to work during many peak periods
- Stocks beverage stations when necessary including ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets
- Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests
- Maintains professional and clean appearance
- Communicates effectively with wait staff, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff
- Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions
