Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Previous experience as a restaurant server
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Flexible availability including weekends, nights, holidays, and high demand periods
  • Working knowledge of food sanitation and handling
  • Understanding of VA ABC laws and regulations
  • Positive attitude under pressure

  • Previous experience as a restaurant server required
  • Excellent customer-service, time-management, and communication skills

  • Working knowledge of food sanitation and food handling
  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • Understanding of VA ABC laws and regulations
  • TIPS certified preferred
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, such as standing for long periods of time
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Completing restaurant and server station set-up and breakdown/side-work
  • Taking and fulfilling food and beverage orders per our guests' preferences
  • Performing cashier functions accurately, such as closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
  • Complying with Omni's standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
  • Using our Omni "All In" app to promote employee recognition
  • Becoming proficient with the POS system, and its various functions
  • Being a team player by always willing to assist other associates whenever possible
  • Interacting with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Providing information on the hotel's features and amenities
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the F&B Supervisor and/or F&B Manager
