Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • previous experience as a restaurant server
  • flexible availability including weekends, nights, holidays, and high-demand periods
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • working knowledge of food sanitation and handling
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • understanding of VA ABC laws and regulations
  • TIPS certification preferred

  • previous experience as a restaurant server required
  • excellent customer-service, time-management, and communication skills
  • effective problem-solving skills with the ability to respond and act quickly
  • working knowledge of food sanitation and food handling
  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • understanding of VA ABC laws and regulations
  • TIPS certified preferred
  • ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, such as standing for long periods
  • must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Completing restaurant and server station set-up and breakdown/side-work
  • taking and fulfilling food and beverage orders per guests' preferences
  • performing cashier functions accurately, such as closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
  • complying with Omni's standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations
  • using Omni "All In" app to promote employee recognition
  • becoming proficient with the POS system and its various functions
  • being a team player by assisting other associates whenever possible
  • interacting with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • providing information on the hotel's features and amenities
  • performing other duties as assigned by the F&B Supervisor or F&B Manager
