Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a server in a fine dining or banquet setting
- Valid State Food Handler's License
- Valid Liquor Serving Permit
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with Point of Sale systems
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as server in an upscale banquet house
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
- Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
- Necessary State Food Handler's License and Liquor Serving Permit
- Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand or walk for entire shifts
Job Duties
- Assembles banquet rooms for each event
- Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages
- Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
- Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Keeps all banquet spaces clean and organized
- Navigates menu offerings to engage guests
- Capitalizes on upselling opportunities to enhance guest experience
