Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a server in a fine dining or banquet setting
  • Valid State Food Handler's License
  • Valid Liquor Serving Permit
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Proficiency with Point of Sale systems

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as server in an upscale banquet house
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Necessary State Food Handler's License and Liquor Serving Permit
  • Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand or walk for entire shifts

Job Duties

  • Assembles banquet rooms for each event
  • Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages
  • Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
  • Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings
  • Keeps all banquet spaces clean and organized
  • Navigates menu offerings to engage guests
  • Capitalizes on upselling opportunities to enhance guest experience
