Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in upscale banquet or hospitality service
- food handler's license
- liquor serving permit
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
- stamina to stand or walk for the entirety of the shift
- ability to move tables and chairs
- ability to carry oval trays using jack stands
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as server in an upscale banquet house
- ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
- working knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
- working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
- necessary State Food Handler's License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Assembles banquet rooms for each event
- ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages
- ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
- maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- keeps all banquet spaces clean and organized
- engages guests to provide an unmatched service experience
- navigates menu offerings and capitalizes on upselling opportunities
