The Server role at Red Lobster is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and the dining industry. Servers are responsible for ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they are seated to the conclusion of their meal. Their duties include greeting guests with a smile, suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts, accurately taking food and drink orders, and properly entering those orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Servers must also efficiently pick up and deliver food orders, check in with guests to provide refills and clear tables, and settle checks in a friendly, timely manner. Furthermore, adherence to all food safety standards is critical. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 30 pounds safely. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • Experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • Suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts
  • Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS system properly
  • Picking up and delivering food orders in a timely manner
  • Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner, thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Following all food safety standards
