Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant brand with a rich heritage that dates back over fifty years. What started as a single family-owned restaurant has blossomed into a network of over 500 restaurants across the country. At the heart of Red Lobster's mission is a dedication to providing guests with an exceptional connection to seafood and coastal dining experiences. Each restaurant is not just a place to eat, but a vibrant part of the communities it serves, where new friends become familiar faces and memorable meals are shared regularly. Red Lobster prides itself on delivering consistent quality, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return time and time again.

As a Server at Red Lobster, you will play a vital role in ensuring every guest’s dining experience is special from start to finish. This full-time or part-time position offers competitive wages ranging from nine to twenty-five dollars per hour, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling options to accommodate various lifestyles. The role involves greeting and welcoming guests with a warm smile, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the guest experience. You will be responsible for promptly delivering orders, checking in with guests to meet their needs, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Moreover, following strict food safety standards is essential to maintaining Red Lobster's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. The physical demands of the role include the ability to stand for a full shift, bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to thirty pounds. Successful candidates will be team players who pay keen attention to detail and can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Red Lobster offers a comprehensive benefits package that makes working here rewarding beyond wages. Employees have access to affordable medical, dental, and vision plans starting at less than ten dollars per week, along with life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits options. The company also provides a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service, recognizing and rewarding employee loyalty with anniversary pay for eligible staff. Additional perks include discounted shift meals and a twenty-five percent discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster invests in its staff through training and career development programs, offering clear pathways for advancement and growth within its expanding restaurant family.

Red Lobster is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace for all employees. It is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fairness and diversity, providing equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. BIG plans are underway for Red Lobster's future, making it a promising time to join the family and be part of a brand that continues to grow and innovate in the restaurant industry.
