Job Requirements

  • Must be able to continuously walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform work inside and outside
  • Able to sit infrequently
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and push weights ranging from 0-10 pounds constantly to 11-50 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to climb stairs frequently with elevator access as alternate
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist or rotate frequently with weights manipulation
  • Must have the ability to reach overhead and below waist frequently
  • Clear vision with or without corrective lenses
  • Ability to hear alarms, signals, and communication clearly
  • Strong command of English sufficient to read, write, and interpret administrative information

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a server role preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide courteous, efficient, and high-quality service to residents and guests in dining venues
  • Understand the menu offerings including ingredients, preparation methods, and special dietary options
  • Take and process orders accurately, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are met
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Engage with residents and guests to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Handle resident feedback with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues swiftly
  • Escalate issues and complaints to the Front of House Manager when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and other staff members to ensure seamless service
  • Cross-train and fill necessary roles within the food and beverage department to ensure high-quality service
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
  • Attend and maintain up-to-date training courses
  • Perform other duties assigned relating to the success of the community and resident care
