Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs
  • standing, walking, and bending for long periods including walking up stairs
  • visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years in upscale, high-volume, fast-paced, and/or fine dining service
  • extensive knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and proper service techniques
  • strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
  • professional grooming and attire consistent with luxury service standards
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • sommelier or wine certification a plus
  • familiarity with fine dining service styles such as French service and table-side preparation

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings
  • guide guests through the dining experience with personalized recommendations
  • coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • adhere to high service standards, including table setting, wine service, and proper etiquette
  • maintain the cleanliness and organization of the assigned station and dining areas
  • handle guest complaints and concerns with grace, discretion, and professionalism
