Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years food service experience preferred
- must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
- must have Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification
- ability to stand for up to four hours and work in varying temperatures including freezers and kitchens
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- must have good communication skills
- must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- regular attendance
- compliance with company rules and safety policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years food service experience preferred
- previous experience with Micros POS preferred
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- basic computer skills
- basic computational ability
- knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
- knowledge of table and bar service
- knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
- excellent leadership and customer relations skills
- detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
- ability to work independently
- safe server alcohol and food handlers certification
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
- take guest food and beverage orders
- describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation
- suggest menu products to customers
- clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
- verify customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
- perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignment
- maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area through disposing of waste, cleaning glassware, and wiping down service and preparation areas
- participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
- operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers accurately
- assist all guests professionally with high quality customer service standards
- perform additional duties assigned by manager or supervisor
