Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
one to three years food service experience preferred
must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
must have Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification
ability to stand for up to four hours and work in varying temperatures including freezers and kitchens
ability to lift up to 45 lbs
ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
must have good communication skills
must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
regular attendance
compliance with company rules and safety policies

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
one to three years food service experience preferred
previous experience with Micros POS preferred
ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
basic computer skills
basic computational ability
knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
knowledge of table and bar service
knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
excellent leadership and customer relations skills
detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
ability to work independently
safe server alcohol and food handlers certification

Job Duties

Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
take guest food and beverage orders
describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation
suggest menu products to customers
clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
verify customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignment
maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area through disposing of waste, cleaning glassware, and wiping down service and preparation areas
participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers accurately
assist all guests professionally with high quality customer service standards
perform additional duties assigned by manager or supervisor
