Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience as a server in a contemporary dining restaurant
  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • Knowledge of food presentation, ingredients, and preparation
  • Ability to handle money and operate POS systems
  • Exceptional personality and hospitality-driven attitude
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Polished, professional, friendly, and dynamic
  • Ability to take initiative in a guest service focused environment
  • Maintains a sense of urgency to complete tasks

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive service to all customers while taking and serving food and beverage orders
  • Present yourself as a positive reflection of the venue while providing exceptional customer service
  • Prepare tables for service
  • Act as a food and cocktail tour guide, making personal recommendations
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu to answer all guest questions
  • Serve food, wine, and beverages
  • Oversee all aspects of table service
  • Provide direct service to guests by taking orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Deliver all guest requests in a timely fashion
  • Maintain, clear, and reset table setups
  • Input all orders accurately into the POS system
  • Ensure work area complies with Health District health codes
  • Handle cash quickly and accurately
  • Upsell food and beverages
  • Keep stations stocked by polishing and distributing china, glassware, and silverware
  • Perform proper cash, comp, and check control procedures
  • Perform opening, running, and closing side work
