The role of Server in this restaurant is pivotal in ensuring guests receive impeccable service from the moment they walk in until they leave. The Server will be responsible for providing fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service that consistently exceeds the expectations of members and guests. This position demands attentiveness and a genuine commitment to making each guest feel as though they are the sole focus of the restaurant's care. The Server will have an intimate understanding of the menu, including pronunciation, preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients, and presentation styles to confidently recommend dishes aligned with guest preferences and enhance sales through suggestive selling of appetizers, beverages, and desserts.

Beyond direct guest interaction, the Server will be tasked with maintaining well-organized service stations, preparing all silverware, glassware, and flatware to exacting standards, and ensuring readiness for high traffic events like concerts. Proficiency in using the restaurant’s Point of Sale (POS) system is necessary for accurate order entry and billing. The Server must also be knowledgeable about liquor and wine service and comply with all state laws relating to alcohol sales. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all designated areas, deep cleaning as needed, and adhering to cash handling and gaming guidelines will be essential parts of daily duties.

Working in the casino’s dynamic setting, the Server will also contribute to promoting current casino events and programs, providing directions within the casino complex, and recognizing VIP members to offer enhanced service. The nature of the work environment includes exposure to second-hand smoke, noise, bright lighting, and cleaning chemicals, with an expectation to perform well under pressure while maintaining positive interactions with guests and staff alike.

This employment opportunity requires flexibility as duties may evolve in response to business needs, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to adaptive and superior service. This is a full-time server position requiring at least one year of food service experience in high-volume upscale restaurants, preferably with an Asian cuisine background. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, excellent communication skills, and a Food Worker’s Certificate (food handler’s card) are mandatory. Bilingual abilities in Mandarin or Cantonese are advantageous, supporting effective service to a diverse clientele.
