Job Description

We are currently hiring Servers to join our team who are enthusiastic, personable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service. Servers at SSP America act as the face of our brand, responsible for engaging with guests to provide courteous and efficient service. The role demands the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where flexibility and a positive attitude are essential. Servers are expected to have warm, friendly smiles and the ability to delight guests through attentive and knowledgeable service.

The main responsibilities involve taking accurate food and beverage orders, making recommendations based on guests’ preferences, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This includes preparing simple dishes such as ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting pie and desserts, and brewing coffee to maintain service quality. Attentiveness to guest needs and a proactive approach in responding to requests are also key parts of the role. Server duties extend to accurately processing payments, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

Our compensation package includes an hourly wage of $2.13 plus tips, recognizing the contribution of excellent service to guest satisfaction and earning potential. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work open availability
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is advantageous

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Answer questions and offer suggestions regarding food, beverages, and services of the facility
  • Accurately input orders into the POS system
  • Prepare dishes for service, to include ladling soup, tossing salads, cutting portions of pie and desserts, and brewing coffee
  • Observe guests to anticipate their needs and respond to any additional requests
  • Clear all dishes away from table
  • Balance and reconcile all assigned open and closed checks by totaling bills and accepting payments
  • Clear and reset all counters or tables at the conclusion of each course
  • Other duties as assigned
