IHOP is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join their dynamic team. As a Server at IHOP, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests by providing friendly service, efficiently taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about food, hospitality, and customer interaction. The role involves greeting and welcoming guests, presenting menus, making recommendations, and answering questions about menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions. Servers are responsible for accurately taking and processing customer orders using the POS system, serving food and beverages promptly, and checking on guests throughout their meals to ensure satisfaction. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area is also an essential aspect of the role. Additionally, Servers collaborate closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. Job Qualifications

  • Previous experiences as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Present menus make recommendations and answer questions about menu items specials and dietary restrictions
  • Accurately take and process customer orders using the point-of-sale POS system
  • Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring that plates are prepared and garnished according to IHOP standards
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including tables chairs and service stations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions processing payments according to company policies
  • Follow all safety sanitation and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the food service industry
