Job Requirements
- Must read write and communicate in English related to job and safety regulations
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely
- Must meet company performance standards
- Must participate in company orientation and training
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be able to work scheduled assigned times and required overtime
- Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools required for the job
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food service background or experience preferred
- Excellent people skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety information related to materials used in the work
Job Duties
- Treat fragile premium ice creams and toppings with respect and pride
- Make increased ice cream consumption the goal of each shift
- Enter orders into POS immediately
- Make products quickly with precision and attractive presentation
- Expedite orders to dining room and coordinate runners
- Look for sampling opportunities
- Monitor and restock retail cases ensuring neatness
- Take and process telephone orders efficiently while encouraging increased sales
- Coordinate all online orders ensuring completeness and correct modifiers
- Make each guest feel important and special, especially children
- Exceed guest and coworker expectations
- Perform final quality control checks
- Maintain impeccably neat uniforms, tables, and welcome areas
- Offer sincere personal welcomes
- Smile and make eye contact
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively
- Create emotional connections to build memorable experiences
