The role of Server at the Great Shots facility in Sioux Falls, SD, represents a critical customer-facing position within Sanford Health’s food service operations. This position is offered as a PRN (pro re nata or as-needed) job, with variable shifts and weekly hours, catering to flexible scheduling needs. The Server is entrusted with multiple responsibilities centered around delivering excellent food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive interaction experience for customers and coworkers alike.
The Server’s duties include preparing and serving various food items, restocking food areas to meet demand, and operating equipment such as beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, and computerized cash registers. Handling payments accurately through cash and credit transactions while adhering to established financial protocols is also a key component of this role. Providing courteous and knowledgeable customer service, answering patrons’ questions regarding the menu, and offering appropriate suggestions contribute to the overall customer satisfaction.
