Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year's experience serving
  • available for a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • availability on weekends and holidays
  • able to obtain Food Service Sanitation certification from an ansi-approved program within 30 days of hire
  • able to obtain Illinois Basset Certification within 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • at least one year's experience serving
  • available for a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • must be available on weekends and holidays
  • possess current, or be able to procure within 30 days of hire, Food Service Sanitation certification from an ansi-approved program and Illinois Basset Certification
  • open availability preferred
  • basic knowledge of Goose Island's history and beer brands preferred
  • craft beer enthusiast preferred

Job Duties

  • provide exceptional customer service
  • take and serve food and beverage orders accurately
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • assist in setting up and breaking down stations before and after shifts
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
  • manage cash and credit transactions if required
  • respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests
