Job Description

Goode Company Restaurants is a prominent Texas-based dining establishment known for its commitment to delivering an authentic and memorable Texas-sized dining experience to its guests. As a well-established company in the hospitality industry, Goode Company Restaurants prides itself on providing high-quality food and exceptional customer service across its various locations. The brand is synonymous with southern hospitality, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that celebrates Texas culture and culinary traditions. With a focus on fresh ingredients, classic recipes, and a vibrant dining environment, Goode Company has become a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike who seek both great food and excellent service.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Servers. This role is perfect for energetic personalities who are passionate about delivering top-notch service while maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere. As a Server at Goode Company Restaurants, your primary responsibility will be to provide consistent, high-quality service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is both enjoyable and memorable. Emphasizing a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail, you will be instrumental in upholding the company’s core values and standards.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting, including handling money and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems as well as credit and debit card processing. Flexibility is key, as the role requires availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, along with professional dress, speech, and behavior to appropriately represent the Goode Company brand.

In addition to serving guests by accurately taking orders and timely delivery of food and beverages, the Server also plays a significant role in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the dining area. Responsibilities include pre-bussing tables, refilling beverages, checking identification to prevent underage drinking, and compliance with alcohol awareness protocols. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential to maintaining smooth operations and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Goode Company Restaurants values dedicated employees who take pride in their work and hold themselves accountable. Our Servers are expected to have a thorough knowledge of all menu items and preparation methods to effectively answer guest questions. A warm, professional demeanor coupled with excellent customer service skills will help you succeed in this role and create lasting impressions on our diners.

Joining Goode Company means becoming part of a team that values its people as much as its customers. We offer competitive compensation with a base pay rate plus tips, creating an opportunity for earners with a passion for hospitality to thrive financially. Additionally, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee wellness, including medical memberships, preventive and diagnostic care, access to wellness resources, and food discounts. The opportunity to work in a reputable establishment that emphasizes quality, respect, and growth makes this position ideal for individuals seeking a rewarding career in the restaurant industry.
