Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend and walk for extended periods
  • must be able to move, pull, push, carry or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds regularly
  • ability to climb stairs repeatedly
  • ability to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects regularly
  • must be able to reach items at varying heights

  • must complete state alcohol training awareness program

  • must understand Department of Health food service and safety rules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in fine dining or hospitality preferred
  • strong food and beverage knowledge
  • ability to multitask and stay organized
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • knowledge of POS systems
  • familiarity with safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to stay calm under pressure
  • commitment to customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • Report for duty on time using timeclock
  • manage time including taking rests and meal breaks complying with labor law
  • maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene
  • adhere to health, safety, alcohol control and sanitation protocols
  • know regular guests and encourage new guests to become regulars
  • organize, clean and maintain all server stations
  • communicate clearly with service staff and management
  • prepare the floor for opening and closing shifts
  • attend to guest needs throughout dining room
  • run food, drinks and bus tables
  • complete assigned side work pre and post shift
  • attend trainings and pre-shift meetings
  • have in-depth knowledge of cocktails, wine and food menus
  • communicate all guest allergies to management
  • understand floorplan and table positions
  • support management in service and events
