Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability including distance, closeness, color, depth and peripheral vision
- Ability to adjust focus as needed
- Work in areas with low or dim lighting
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California based positions (can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification (or ability to obtain during training)
Job Duties
- Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service guided by each guest's preferences and cues
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and drink menu and confidently recommend, upsell, and support guests' order selections
- Prepare food and condiments adhering to Outback standards
- Ensure accurate guest orders to deliver a satisfying experience
- Buss tables, deliver food and beverages, ensuring every opportunity to wow a customer is complete
- Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Support all areas of the restaurant as needed, reflecting teamwork
