Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
Able to work in hot and cold environments
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per shift
Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
Visual ability including distance, closeness, color, depth and peripheral vision
Ability to adjust focus as needed
Work in areas with low or dim lighting
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California based positions (can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date)

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or hospitality beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards preferred
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
Responsible Beverage Service Certification (or ability to obtain during training)

Job Duties

Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service guided by each guest's preferences and cues
Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and drink menu and confidently recommend, upsell, and support guests' order selections
Prepare food and condiments adhering to Outback standards
Ensure accurate guest orders to deliver a satisfying experience
Buss tables, deliver food and beverages, ensuring every opportunity to wow a customer is complete
Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Support all areas of the restaurant as needed, reflecting teamwork
