Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
One plus year of serving experience preferred but willing to train
Food handler's card required with training provided
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Excellent time management, organization, and customer service skills
Passion for positively impacting older adults within a CCRC community
Current COVID-19 vaccine preferred
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform various physical activities including standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Job Duties

Set and maintain clean, properly arranged tables with correct place settings
Serve meals promptly and accurately with a courteous, professional demeanor
Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset for next service
Support service during special events and functions
Cultivate positive, respectful relationships with residents and guests in alignment with the community's high standards for care and service
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
Operate POS system with accuracy
Maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude at all times
