The Server position at Wallick Senior Living’s Ashford of Beavercreek location is a full-time role with a competitive pay rate of $14 per hour. This role is vital in creating a warm and enjoyable dining atmosphere for residents by attending to their meal requests and ensuring a well-prepared dining environment. Servers at Wallick are entrusted not only with serving meals but also with setting up and cleaning dining areas, maintaining stocked beverage stations including the juice bar, coffee, and iced tea, and ensuring utensils and cups are always readily available. Success in this position requires a compassionate, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills to foster a welcoming dining experience. Additionally, prior experience in serving, assisted living, or memory care is advantageous but not mandatory; Wallick values eagerness to learn and a dedication to making a positive difference.

Job Duties

  • take care of residents’ meal requests during mealtimes, making sure they have what they need
  • set up the dining room before meals and help clean up afterward
  • keep the juice bar, coffee, and iced tea stocked and ready for residents
  • make sure there are always enough clean utensils, cups, and glasses available
  • pitch in with any other tasks as needed to help the team and support our residents
