Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED degree
- At least 1 year of food service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Fluent in English including reading, writing and speaking
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
- Commitment to working with geriatric residents
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments
- Teamwork skills
- Multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED degree
- 1 year food service preferred
- Fluent in English including reading, writing and speaking
- Ability to communicate clearly to all levels within the community
- Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents understanding their special needs
- Ability to follow directions and follow through on assignments
- Ability to work with others as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- ServSafe certification is desirable
- Positive attitude

Job Duties
- Assist cook and supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures
- Deliver residents’ meal carts and set and clean assigned dining areas to serve residents
- Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators and clean and stock as needed
- Wash and store dishes adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen
- Follow federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Set up dining area and trays for meal services following dietary restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout food service process
