Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced restaurant and outdoor event environments
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and multitask under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three months related server experience preferred
  • Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • TIPS Certification
  • Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
  • Competent with basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude to contribute to a productive work environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Effective oral communication skills for interaction with guests and team members
  • Attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by knowing the resort and dining area
  • Write orders and relay food and beverage requests to kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve food and beverages and clear tables in accordance with service etiquette
  • Connect with guests throughout the dining experience to ensure satisfaction
  • Work as a team following direction from the Lead Server or Food & Beverage Manager
  • Handle cash and card transactions, ensure accuracy and return correct change
  • Check identification for legal alcohol purchase age
  • Report potential safety issues or customer concerns to supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned
