The inn’s commitment to excellence extends beyond its dining services to include comprehensive employee benefits and a positive work environment. The company prides itself on fostering a collaborative, supportive team culture where every staff member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Employees benefit from competitive pay, opportunities for gratuities, and a range of health and wellness plans that ensure personal and professional well-being.
The Evening Server position at Farmhouse Inn is a pivotal role that requires an individual passionate about hospitality, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced fine dining environment. Reporting directly to the Fine Dining Restaurant General Manager, the Evening Server will be responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and service standards. This position demands excellent communication, the ability to work cooperatively with fellow team members across departments, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Key duties include setting up the restaurant for evening service, serving food and beverages according to stringent quality standards, and ensuring the dining area is maintained impeccably throughout service.
Farmhouse Inn emphasizes a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to embrace learning opportunities and adapt to changing environments with enthusiasm and flexibility. The server is expected to deliver service that not only meets but exceeds guest expectations through active listening, timely responses to guest needs, and maintaining professionalism under pressure. Physical stamina and the ability to handle various tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods are essential for success in this role.
With a starting pay of $16.50 per hour plus service charge and tips, the role offers a rewarding compensation package along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and chiropractic plans, a 401K with employer matching, and employee discounts across the inn, restaurant, and spa. Additionally, daily family meals are provided, underscoring the inn’s commitment to its employees’ well-being. Candidates must be flexible regarding scheduling, with a mandatory Sunday availability and understanding that the restaurant is closed for dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone dedicated to fine dining hospitality to grow their skills within a respected and supportive organization.
