Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
Must be Food Safety Certified within 90 days of taking the position
Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
Maintain ServeSafe certification
Comply with safety and regulatory procedures
Complete required training and re-education by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
Pass pre-employment drug test
Meet COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination mandates as applicable

Job Duties

Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe physical and social environment for residents and fellow team members
Provide dining service training to new care managers
Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and provide general descriptions to residents
Assist residents with menu selections and respond to pertinent questions about menu items
Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to established guidelines
Respond to the dining needs of residents while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards
Attend pre-meal briefing to gain knowledge of the meal and meal support activities
