Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
- Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 90 days
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Comply with Sunrise and state regulations training as applicable
- Pass drug and health screenings
- Adhere to local, state, and federal food handling and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Food Safety Certification obtained within 90 days of employment
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Provide support in day-to-day dining room operations while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and assist residents with selections
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to established guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas
- Perform dining room checklist inspections and adjust as necessary to meet quality standards
- Assist in dining room set-up and re-set of tables in accordance with procedures
