Job Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 90 days
Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
Comply with Sunrise and state regulations training as applicable
Pass drug and health screenings
Adhere to local, state, and federal food handling and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or GED
Minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
Food Safety Certification obtained within 90 days of employment
CPR and First Aid certification
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Competent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

Provide support in day-to-day dining room operations while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
Provide dining service training to new care managers
Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and assist residents with selections
Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to established guidelines
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas
Perform dining room checklist inspections and adjust as necessary to meet quality standards
Assist in dining room set-up and re-set of tables in accordance with procedures
