Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
  • food safety certified within 90 days of employment
  • maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
  • ServeSafe certification
  • complete all required training including safety and regulatory courses
  • ability to work within a team environment
  • physical ability to perform dining room related tasks
  • pass pre-employment drug test
  • comply with federal state and local vaccination requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • provide support in day-to-day dining room operations maintaining a safe and positive environment for residents and team members
  • provide dining service training to new care managers
  • maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
  • take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to guidelines
  • ensure compliance with food handling and safety policies
  • perform dining room cleanliness and readiness inspections and maintain assigned areas
  • assist in set-up, re-set, and upkeep of dining room and tables
  • participate in inventories and support dining room etiquette and decorum
  • review daily logs and resident diet information maintaining confidentiality
  • complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation assignments
  • assist with directional flow and organization of dining areas
  • partner with team members for compliance with health and safety regulations including PPE and lockout tagout procedures
  • attend team meetings and training to support organizational goals
  • perform additional duties as assigned
