Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
- food safety certified within 90 days of employment
- maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- ServeSafe certification
- complete all required training including safety and regulatory courses
- ability to work within a team environment
- physical ability to perform dining room related tasks
- pass pre-employment drug test
- comply with federal state and local vaccination requirements where applicable
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- provide support in day-to-day dining room operations maintaining a safe and positive environment for residents and team members
- provide dining service training to new care managers
- maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
- take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to guidelines
- ensure compliance with food handling and safety policies
- perform dining room cleanliness and readiness inspections and maintain assigned areas
- assist in set-up, re-set, and upkeep of dining room and tables
- participate in inventories and support dining room etiquette and decorum
- review daily logs and resident diet information maintaining confidentiality
- complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation assignments
- assist with directional flow and organization of dining areas
- partner with team members for compliance with health and safety regulations including PPE and lockout tagout procedures
- attend team meetings and training to support organizational goals
- perform additional duties as assigned
