Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Food Safety Certified within 90 days of taking the position
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Maintain ServeSafe certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Ability to comply with all local state and federal food safety and health regulations
- Ability to participate in pre-employment health screenings and background checks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to attend required training and meetings
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing and walking as needed
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality positive and safe environment for residents and team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of Daily and Always Available Menu items and provide general descriptions to residents
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond to questions about menu items
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to guidelines
- Respond to the dining needs of residents while maintaining hospitality and service standards
- Attend pre-meal briefings to gain knowledge of meal and support activities
- Follow food handling policies and maintain cleanliness hygiene and health standards
- Perform dining room checklist inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality
- Maintain side work duties as assigned
- Maintain assigned tables and surrounding area in a clean and ready state
- Perform dining room set-up and re-set tables according to procedures
- Support dining room decorum and etiquette standards
- Perform opening and closing checklist criteria
- Assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
- Review and document Daily Log for pertinent resident information
- Review Resident Diet Book or confidential chart
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Practice safe food handling to prevent food borne illness
- Complete cleaning assignments regularly
- Maintain work areas in a healthy and safe condition
- Assist with dining room organization and supplies placement
- Partner with team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
- Practice safety procedures including PPE fire extinguishers SDS and Lockout Tagout
- Participate actively as a team member working toward goals
- Demonstrate Team Member Credo in all interactions
- Commit to serving residents through Principles of Service
- Contribute to engagement programs and processes
- Attend team meetings as directed
- Maintain compliance with assigned required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
