Job Requirements
- At least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum 8th grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude to engage with residents
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Capacity to assist residents with mobility and post-fall support
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a senior living or hospitality environment is an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with senior residents
- Positive and energetic attitude with a passion for resident care
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic English literacy with at least 8th grade proficiency
- Criminal background clearance
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
- Be present and engaged in the dining room to mingle and entertain residents
- Prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall support
- Maintain tidiness and order in the dining environment
- Foster a warm and connecting atmosphere for residents during meal times
