Job Description
Arrow Senior Living is a respected management company overseeing a collection of senior living communities that specialize in diverse care services, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. With a presence in 34 properties across six states—Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, and Arkansas—this company brings compassionate, person-centered care to nearly 2,200 employees and residents. The organization emphasizes creating a warm and home-like environment, not only for the residents but also for its team members, fostering a community where everyone feels valued and appreciated. Arrow Senior Living is dedicated to upholding its core values deeply embedded in everyday operations, resulting in exceptional care that enhances the quality of life for seniors. This commitment is reflected across its properties, including The Summit Senior Living in Little Rock, Arkansas.
This opportunity is for a Part-Time Server position at The Summit Senior Living located at 16100 Chenal Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas. The position is designed for individuals eager to contribute to a welcoming, friendly dining atmosphere for senior residents. Servers play a pivotal role in creating a positive experience by enthusiastically greeting and interacting with residents, preparing dining areas effectively, and maintaining cleanliness. The role goes beyond traditional serving duties to include preparing the environment for upcoming services and engaging residents in social and enjoyable interactions during meal times. The schedule runs Sunday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7:30 pm, with a competitive starting wage ranging from $13.50 to $15.50 per hour.
Working as a Server at Arrow Senior Living means more than just serving meals; it means being a "Host with the Most," ensuring residents feel welcome and valued, a "Peppy Prepper" who is prepared to support a smooth meal service, and a "Titan of Tidiness" that contributes to the community's pride by keeping the dining environment spotless. The position requires energetic individuals who can stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout their shift, and those able to lift or move up to 50 pounds are preferred. The job also requires assisting residents as needed with mobility and safety, positioning this role as a vital part of the care team.
Arrow Senior Living deeply values its employees by offering comprehensive benefits. These include a company match 401(k) plan with a 100% match up to the first 3% of employee contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees starting after 60 days, disability, life insurance, and paid time off accrual based on employment status. Employees are also supported through tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, employee recognition initiatives, referral programs, complimentary meals during shifts, an option for daily pay, and convenient direct deposit. Most importantly, the company maintains a strong culture of promoting from within, providing clear career advancement paths. Prospective candidates who are at least 16 years old, have strong communication skills in English, exhibit positivity and energy, and are ready to engage with residents meaningfully will find this position fulfilling and rewarding.
