Job Description

Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is a distinguished nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to providing a broad spectrum of high-quality housing, care, and service options to older adults. Founded in 1955 and headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, PHS serves a vast network of more than 41,800 seniors through over 60 affiliated communities across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, including 24/7 home and community services via their Optage® program. The organization is also a co-owner of Genevive, the premier geriatric primary care practice in Minnesota, caring for over 15,500 elder adults. PHS is renowned for its innovative approach in promoting independence, purposeful living, and comprehensive well-being for older adults, making it one of the largest nonprofit senior housing and service providers in the nation.

Dickson Hollow, a vibrant community under the PHS umbrella, is strategically located at the corner of Pilgrim Road and Lisbon Road in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Nestled near towns like Butler, Sussex, Brookfield, Wauwatosa, and Milwaukee, Dickson Hollow was developed in partnership with the Presbyterian Homes of Wisconsin and encompasses worship and ministry spaces for the Living Hope Presbyterian Church. This community offers a range of care options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, providing a comprehensive support system for residents. The environment at Dickson Hollow embodies a welcoming, compassionate culture where staff and residents alike thrive. Employees benefit from amenities such as discounted meals and complimentary access to a Fitness Center, fostering a balanced and enriching work environment.

The part-time Server/Dietary Aide role at Dickson Hollow presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about creating quality dining experiences for older adults. Scheduled for early evening shifts from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other weekend, with opportunities to pick up additional hours, this position offers flexibility and competitive compensation ranging from $16.30 to $18.22 per hour based on experience. This role centers on assisting with meal preparation, dining room setup, and providing attentive meal service, all while adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulations. The Server/Dietary Aide will play a crucial role in ensuring that every meal service is delivered with care and professionalism, contributing significantly to the residents' quality of life.

Working at PHS means joining a team that prioritizes its people by fostering an empowering, engaging, and supportive environment. PHS emphasizes its Christian Ministry values, striving to reflect God’s love and grace through every action. The organization welcomes employees who align with its mission to enrich lives and serve others with compassion. PHS is committed to creating a safe and inclusive workplace where diversity is embraced, and all individuals are respected regardless of race, creed, gender, or background. Employees also enjoy a suite of benefits including health and dental insurance, employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts, life insurance, retirement plans with match eligibility, paid time off, holiday pay, and access to educational assistance programs.
