The Server / Dietary Aide at Priority Life Care plays a pivotal role in creating a warm and inviting dining experience for the residents. This position is responsible for serving food and beverages courteously and efficiently, assisting cooks with meal preparation, and maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of the dining environment. The role requires attentiveness to residents’ needs, ensuring their satisfaction throughout meal times while following all state and federal regulations related to dietary service. This position suits individuals passionate about serving others, particularly seniors, and who desire to contribute to a compassionate, dignified caregiving community.
In this role, the Server / Dietary Aide will greet residents promptly, take accurate food and drink orders, provide detailed knowledge of menu options, and ensure a pleasant dining atmosphere by setting up and tidying dining spaces. They will also assist with food prep and cleaning duties, report any concerns to the Dietary Manager, and participate in required meetings and training sessions to maintain high service standards. This position offers $15 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation for valuable team members.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Customer service orientation
- Willingness to assist in food preparation and cleaning tasks
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Serving experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Greets residents to the dining experience warmly and promptly
- Accurately take food and drink orders in dining room and relay orders to kitchen staff
- Ensure knowledge of the menu and be able to describe meal options
- Serves food and drink to table efficiently and courteously
- Ensures resident satisfaction and checks on guests throughout their meal
- addresses any concerns
- Assist in the preparation of food
- Set up dining room as a clean, inviting space
- Assist in cleaning resident eating areas, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils
- Report any issues or problems that may arise to Dietary Manager
- Attend in-services and other required meetings
