Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Must be able to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Must be reliable and available for scheduled shifts
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Must have physical and mental strength to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks
  • Must comply with all state liquor laws and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current Food Handler's Permit
  • Current Alcohol Certification
  • Minimum one year of serving experience
  • Knowledge of menu items including food, wine, beer, and cocktails
  • Ability to use Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • Understanding of State Liquor Laws and Responsible Alcohol Service Practices

Job Duties

  • Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to provide exceptional dining experiences
  • Prepare dining tables according to specified setups
  • Engage guests to make them feel welcome and attended to
  • Follow company sequence of service for natural guest flow
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and salesmanship in menu and beverage recommendations
  • Process guest orders using Aloha POS ensuring timely preparation
  • Observe guests to monitor satisfaction and respond to additional requests
  • Adhere to State Liquor Laws and company RASP plan
  • Assist bussers with stocking, clearing and resetting tables
  • Accurately total bills and accept payments
  • Perform side work including napkin/utensil roll-ups, menu maintenance, garnish prep, and cleaning
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
