Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Must be reliable and available for scheduled shifts
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Must have physical and mental strength to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks
- Must comply with all state liquor laws and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Current Alcohol Certification
- Minimum one year of serving experience
- Knowledge of menu items including food, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Ability to use Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Understanding of State Liquor Laws and Responsible Alcohol Service Practices
Job Duties
- Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to provide exceptional dining experiences
- Prepare dining tables according to specified setups
- Engage guests to make them feel welcome and attended to
- Follow company sequence of service for natural guest flow
- Demonstrate product knowledge and salesmanship in menu and beverage recommendations
- Process guest orders using Aloha POS ensuring timely preparation
- Observe guests to monitor satisfaction and respond to additional requests
- Adhere to State Liquor Laws and company RASP plan
- Assist bussers with stocking, clearing and resetting tables
- Accurately total bills and accept payments
- Perform side work including napkin/utensil roll-ups, menu maintenance, garnish prep, and cleaning
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
