Job Description

Our establishment is a well-regarded hospitality venue, specifically a full-service restaurant within a hotel environment, committed to providing exceptional dining experiences to guests. Known for its warm atmosphere and top-notch service, the restaurant prides itself on delivering high-quality food and beverage offerings, alongside attentive and friendly customer care. The company emphasizes a culture of respect, professionalism, and ongoing training to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued. As part of a larger hotel brand, the restaurant benefits from the hotel's reputation and guest base, offering team members opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality industry. Employment at our restaurant is offered primarily on a full-time basis, with competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

The role of a Server in this dynamic team is vital as it directly influences guest satisfaction and the restaurant’s reputation. Servers will be responsible for waiting on guests by promptly greeting them, presenting menus, informing them of daily specials, and offering both food and beverage options tailored to the guests’ preferences. The Server acts as a liaison between guests and the kitchen or bar, accurately communicating orders to ensure timely and correct service. This position demands excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Servers must maintain clean and organized workstations, restock necessary supplies, and uphold high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance. It is essential to have a knowledge of menu items, including pricing and ingredients, to confidently respond to guest inquiries and make recommendations. Certified training in alcohol service and safety guidelines is required to responsibly serve alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with all regulations. The role also includes adhering to health and safety protocols, such as OSHA training and familiarity with fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures, to maintain a safe workplace.

Additionally, the Server will be expected to manage transactions accurately by presenting checks, handling payments, and returning change. Maintaining confidentiality regarding company information and adhering to ethical standards are fundamental aspects of the role. Flexibility and adaptability are also valued traits, as the position may evolve with the operational needs of the restaurant. By joining our team, Servers become integral to fostering a hospitable environment where every guest is treated with dignity and respect, ensuring memorable dining experiences that encourage repeat visits.
