Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Certification in responsible alcohol service
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and move throughout shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Highly organized
- Ability to stand for majority of shift with constant movement and ability to lift 30 pounds
- Strong guest service skills
- Attention to detail and customer service oriented
- Effective communication skills with guests, management, and coworkers
- Certified in Serving Alcohol with Care or similar program
- Successfully completed required OSHA training
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures
Job Duties
- Promptly greet guests at tables and offer food menu and drink specials
- Obtain orders and communicate them to kitchen or bartender and deliver orders
- Return to tables periodically to ensure guest needs are met and offer dessert
- Present the check and handle payments accurately
- Remove dirty dishes and linens as needed
- Reset tables with clean china, linens, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper
- Maintain knowledge of menu prices, daily specials, and monitor snacks at tables
- Clean and refill items as part of side work duties
- Maintain a clean uniform and personal appearance
- Adhere to safe work practices and complete required OSHA training
- Be flexible and adaptable to job changes
- Treat all guests and coworkers with dignity and respect
- Keep company business functions confidential
