Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. Proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, CEC Entertainment has established a reputation for creating joyful experiences for families and children. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, dedicated to crafting lasting memories through a unique combination of fun, food, and play. The brand's commitment to safety is demonstrated through programs like Kid Check® and substantial community support, including more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, underlining its leadership in both innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience emphasizing quality food and engaging entertainment, creating lifelong memories where "The Fun is Baked In." Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza foster play to support physical wellness and strengthen motor skills in children, serving nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. The company promotes diversity and inclusivity and dedicates itself to uniting families through fun and play.
The role of Server at CEC Entertainment is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an exciting career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Servers play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring that food and beverages are provided efficiently and effectively to guests. Empowered cast members undergo cross-training to perform a variety of functions, fostering professional growth and development. Notably, more than 60% of the managers have been promoted from within the company, highlighting strong career advancement opportunities.
The position offers competitive pay with commission potential varying based on employment status—exempt employees can earn $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees have commission ranges from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes. Pay is disbursed bi-weekly unless state law mandates otherwise. CEC Entertainment also provides a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, enhancing employee financial flexibility by eliminating waiting periods between paychecks.
In addition to pay, the company offers valuable benefits such as a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling, scholarship opportunities, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during catastrophes. This role requires physical capabilities including lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts in an environment characterized by flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Employees must also be capable of handling job stress and interacting effectively with guests and co-workers.
CEC Entertainment prioritizes the safety and health of its teams and guests, adhering to rigorous health and sanitation standards that meet or exceed local requirements. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to ensure all employees can perform essential job functions.
By joining CEC Entertainment as a Server, individuals will become part of a dynamic team environment that values diversity, inclusion, and creativity, all while helping to create a welcoming atmosphere where families and children can enjoy memorable experiences. This is a unique career path offering growth potential, comprehensive benefits, and the satisfaction of contributing to a beloved brand that is synonymous with family fun and entertainment.
