Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Willingness to complete food safety training such as Serv Safe
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- Perform cashier duties including handling money and operating computerized cash registers
- Prepare, cook, and serve school lunch and a la carte food items
- Assist the Head Cook with food preparation, cooking, clean-up, counter work, stock rotation, and storage
- Complete Serv Safe food sanitation class and/or Food Service Managers Certification
- Adhere to all Health Department and HACCP rules and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, and staff
