The Server role at Eureka! is a crucial front-line position. As the first point of contact for guests, servers are responsible for creating memorable experiences by delivering personable, attentive, and efficient service. This position reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to other management staff, emphasizing a collaborative team approach. Servers must greet guests within specified time frames, take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, and ensure timely and correct delivery of items. They are expected to maintain cleanliness and organization of their work stations, handle payment transactions securely, and comply with all state and federal laws regarding alcohol service.

In addition to direct guest interaction, servers contribute to maintaining the restaurant’s overall ambience and operational flow by managing seating assistance, responding to phone inquiries, and executing opening and closing duties that include cleaning and food preparation. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and working with various equipment in an environment that may be loud, hot, or hectic at times.
