At Rally Entertainment, the position of Server, affectionately known as "Captain", plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall guest experience. As a Captain, you are not just a server but the leader of the guest journey, welcoming patrons with a warm smile and guiding them through the venue, whether to a pickleball court or a designated dining area. The Captain is entrusted with the responsibility of delivering best-in-class guest service by exceeding expectations through friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable interactions. This position demands high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for hospitality, as Captains actively share their expertise about both the menu offerings and the unique pickleball games facilitated by Rally's innovative on-court technology. The role involves more than just taking orders; Captains are expected to create memorable experiences by anticipating guest needs, offering assistance in navigating the venue's technology-driven game formats, and ensuring all safety and sanitation standards are meticulously followed. A Captain must be a team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where adaptability and quick thinking are paramount. To excel in this role, candidates should be adept at using POS systems, have completed alcohol awareness training, and be flexible enough to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina is essential as the job requires standing, walking, and moving safely across all areas of the venue, which may include stairs and surfaces that are uneven or slick.
