Job Requirements

Proof of age for serving alcoholic beverages, typically 18 or 21 depending on state
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Regular and consistent attendance
Energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to work in a team and independently
Ability to take and follow directions
Responds with a sense of urgency
Completion of basic food handling training and any required permits
Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training for alcohol-related duties

Job Qualifications

Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or food handlers permit where required
Completion of a Safe Alcohol Service training program for those working with alcohol
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
Excellent guest service skills
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to take and follow direction and respond with a sense of urgency

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance, ticket distribution, and reporting concerns
Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
