Job Requirements

  • Proof of age for alcohol service as required by state laws
  • completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or permits
  • completion of safe alcohol service training program
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • regular and consistent attendance
  • ability to provide excellent guest service
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
  • ability to respond with a sense of urgency
  • physical ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods
  • compliance with all safety and security policies
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous
  • strong communication skills including verbal and written English
  • ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • ability to take and follow direction
  • energetic and friendly attitude
  • basic math and accurate cash handling skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
  • accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and correct ticket distribution
  • verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
  • ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
  • consistently use suggestive selling techniques
  • collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
  • consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
  • adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
  • monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • perform other work-related duties as assigned
