Job Requirements
- Proof of age for alcohol service (18 or 21 depending on state)
- Completion of safe alcohol service training
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods
- Willingness to comply with all safety and hygiene protocols
- Ability to handle noise in a busy environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of basic food handling training
- Certification or permit as required by local or state law
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic math and accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to understand and communicate in English
- Capability to follow directions and respond with urgency
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and reporting any concerns
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Use suggestive selling techniques consistently
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilize personal protective equipment
- Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
