Job Requirements
- Proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state) to serve, pour or mix alcoholic beverages
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- completion of basic food handling training and any state or local mandated certification
- completion of safe alcohol service training
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- teamwork skills
- ability to follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- Basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification or food handlers permit where required
- completion of safe alcohol service training program
- ability to communicate effectively in English with all ages, genders, and personalities
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ability to take and follow direction
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- friendly and energetic attitude during each shift
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- utilize personal protective equipment properly when completing position specific tasks
- monitor safety and security issues and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
