The role of Server - Beer and Wine at Cinemark is central to delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position is responsible for guiding guests to order food and beverages that complement their movie experience, including alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine. As a Server - Beer and Wine, you will greet guests warmly and foster engaging interactions that enhance their visit. You will utilize your strong menu knowledge to make specific recommendations and provide prompt and efficient service at the counter. This role acts as a vital liaison between guests and the kitchen staff, ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered timely. Servers in this role may also cross-train and assist in other areas such as concession sales, box office cashiering, ushering, or restaurant work depending on staffing requirements. The position requires a mix of customer service skills, cash management, safety awareness, and teamwork. An understanding of Safe Alcohol Service practices and compliance with legal drinking age laws is essential. Job Requirements

Proof of age
Completion of food handling training and certification where required
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Regular and consistent attendance

Excellent guest service skills
Accurate cash handling and basic math skills

Job Qualifications

Proof of age for serving alcoholic beverages
Completion of basic food handling training and any local or state certification required
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to follow direction and maintain urgency during tasks
Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
Effective verbal and written communication in English

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Responsible for all transactions done on assigned register including proper cash balance and ticket distribution
Verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
Consistently wipes down and sanitizes employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilizes personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
