Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Ability to read, speak, and write English language
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings, serviceware, and menu items
- Ability to read, speak, and write English proficiently
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Sufficient mobility to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- Commitment to practicing safe work habits and following safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Deliver and serve food and beverage items to catering clientele in a friendly and timely manner
- Set tables to meet function specifications
- Deliver necessary equipment and beverages from storage areas to event locations
- Set and display food and beverages on buffet tables
- Quietly remove china, glassware, and silverware from meal area
- Deliver dirty china, silverware, and glassware to kitchen dishwashing stations
- Return equipment, unused beverages, and dirty linen to appropriate storage locations
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Catering Supervisor
