Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- ability to understand and follow established service procedures
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- capability to handle cash transactions responsibly
- physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested, and accommodate reasonable requests and preferences
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain flexibility and patience in interactions with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisors
- ensure the dining room is properly set up before and after service periods, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- work collaboratively with staff of other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
