The position of Server at Rosa Mexicano, located within the Walt Disney World Dolphin, is a full-time, non-management role on the evening shift. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional dining experiences by professionally serving food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, and ensuring guests’ needs and preferences are attentively met. Servers here act as the primary contact for guests during their dining experience, responding to questions about the menu, assisting with special dietary requests, and communicating effectively with kitchen staff to guarantee timely and accurate meal preparation.

This position demands excellent communication skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic service environment. Servers must maintain a clean and organized work area, uphold strict company standards related to safety and security, and ensure compliance with health regulations and protocols.   • ability to lift, carry, push or pull items up to 25 pounds unassisted
  • ability to lift items over 50 pounds with assistance
  • capability to move over uneven surfaces and navigate stairs or ramps
  • proficiency in using POS systems like MICROS

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • answer questions on menu selections
  • communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
  • present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
