Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a server or related hospitality role preferred
Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
Must complete alcohol awareness training
Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
Positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Provide efficient, friendly guest service to a 3-6 table section including following all steps of service and bussing tables
Accurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and balance sales and receipts according to policies
Work various shifts including weekends and different hours
Transport food or beverages safely and effectively in one trip
Operate all necessary tools and equipment correctly
Communicate effectively to follow job requirements
Handle multitasking calmly in a busy environment
Work in crowded spaces with varying noise and temperature levels
Move and lift items up to 50 pounds as required
Stand and walk for entire shifts and move safely through all restaurant areas
Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate needs
Greet guests warmly
Use good judgement in resolving guest challenges
Understand and respond knowledgeably to menu questions
Use sales techniques to promote current specials
Follow food allergy procedures and special orders
Use POS system and handle payment terminals proficiently
Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
Complete alcohol awareness training
Follow all rules, policies, and procedures
Collaborate well with team members
Perform other assigned duties as needed
