Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a server or related hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Must complete alcohol awareness training
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies

Job Duties

  • Provide efficient, friendly guest service to a 3-6 table section including following all steps of service and bussing tables
  • Accurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and balance sales and receipts according to policies
  • Work various shifts including weekends and different hours
  • Transport food or beverages safely and effectively in one trip
  • Operate all necessary tools and equipment correctly
  • Communicate effectively to follow job requirements
  • Handle multitasking calmly in a busy environment
  • Work in crowded spaces with varying noise and temperature levels
  • Move and lift items up to 50 pounds as required
  • Stand and walk for entire shifts and move safely through all restaurant areas
  • Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate needs
  • Greet guests warmly
  • Use good judgement in resolving guest challenges
  • Understand and respond knowledgeably to menu questions
  • Use sales techniques to promote current specials
  • Follow food allergy procedures and special orders
  • Use POS system and handle payment terminals proficiently
